Thirty years in the building industry means there is not much around a property James has not fixed, cleaned or cut. Most jobs fit one of the four groups below. If yours does not, ask anyway, chances are we do it.

    General Repairs & Maintenance

    Sticking doors, torn screens, loose fixtures, flat-pack furniture and small building works. The odd jobs, the annoying jobs and the ones that have been on the list for months, sorted and left tidy.

    Pressure Washing & Gutter Cleaning

    Driveways, paths, decks and walls blasted back to clean, and gutters cleared so the rain goes where it should. Downpipes checked while we are up there, and all the mess taken with us. The two are usually done on the same visit.

I'm James. My son Lucas and I run Help Me James together, a father and son team based in Wollongong.

I have spent 30 years in the building industry, learning the trade from my own father, a builder, and there is not much around a home I have not been asked to fix, from a sticking door to a full lawn renovation.

We have lived in the Illawarra for 18 years and have been helping local homeowners and occupiers with all kinds of repairs and maintenance since October 2019. Knowledge across all aspects of repairs and maintenance, honest advice, and quality work you can rely on.
